  1. Peace Dr. Cathy Hughes. I am very concerned
about the future of Black radio. Right now I
have an Internet Radio Station at http://www.BlackonBlackunity.com I am inviting you to
come on as our guest and to help get the word
out. Please call me at (202) 610-1552. Also, we
have a local publication of all Black advertisers and we can cover the story in their
too. Our hours are Mon-Fri (12noon-9:pm) Sat-(9:am-9pm): Sundays we are closed. Thankyou

  5. I would just like for my voice to be heard. Please save our Black Radio Station across the world.

  6. How can a black congressperson (man or woman) willing to support a bill that will destroy black radio station across the country…especially the ones that supported them from the beginning?

Please consider saving black radio stations!

  7. I’m for saving Black radio…which means that I’m open to hearing healthy, truthful, relevant debate on HR 848, but I’m also against the consolidation, syndication, voice tracking/non-live performance, and general killing off of local stations that was put in place by conglomerates long before HR 848 was a notion.

  8. Mrs. Hughes, in order to get the black community to fully support you, maybe it would help to get some of your “urban” radio stations to play some substantive music instead of telling little girls that they want to f*ck every one of them or that they were the “best they ever had”, or even artists that rap about always being “strapped” or sex on their birthday. I have two adolescent daughters and a son and this is the music that will undoubtedly influence their lives. How can you expect community support under the facade of the things that you do in the community (ie. Peace on the streets, Artist appearances, giveaways, etc.), but the product that you endorse is one of the main vehicles tearing this same community down? Knowing that you and your business are receiving free marketing by sponsoring said artist that endorses your station or visits your function….HR 848 is not that bad….just my opinion. Dont flame me my fellow African-Americans because of my opposing view……..thanks!

  9. PLEASE SAVE BLACK RADIO
